Secret ways of the Avon Valley

Tonight I’m glad to be able to share another of my very favourite Bristol walks with you.

Walk Nineteen: Crew’s Hole, Conham and St. George sheds light on the myriad secret footpaths and lanes that traverse the north side of the beautiful Avon Valley in east Bristol. I only discovered the area ten or so years ago, round about the time I first had the idea for this project, but since then I have come to love its combination of old-world lanes, trickling streams and verdant overhanging greenery, followed by the big sky and unique open spaces of majestic Trooper’s Hill.

Prepare to lose yourself in an area where suburbia collides with history and nature like no other. Enjoy!
